Outfielder bursts through wall chasing ball
Collisions are common in most sports but we seldom see contact of this sort in baseball.
During a College game between Southern Illinois University and Stetson, SIU’s Jake Hand smacked a line-drive to left field thinking it would be picked off by the approaching outfielder.
How wrong he was.

Not only did the outfielder fail to retrieve the ball he ran collided with a part of the back fence and fell through it.
The accident cost Stetson a home run but fortunately the outfielder left the field uninjured.
