One-armed softball player pulls off amazing bat trick
A one-armed softball player has proven two arms are not always better than one after she perfectly re-created a bat trick made famous in a viral video.
Texas softball player Marisa Arriaga stunned the internet earlier this month when she created an intricate routine which ended with her kicking the ball up and blasting it into the distance.
But the two-armed Arriaga has now been upstaged by a young high school student who saw the video and thought she could do better – with only one arm.
Lanesville athlete Katelyn Pavey, who was born with only the one arm, showed no difficulty in replicating the trick, pulling off every move with stunning ease.
First appearing on WLKY News Louisville, the video had the studio reporters in awe.
"There she goes. Awesome," one of the hosts said.
