Rollins wins gold in 100m hurdles trifecta

Brianna Rollins has clinched gold to lead an American trifecta in the women's 100m hurdles at the Rio Olympics.

Rollins won in 12.48 seconds but was followed closely to silver by compatriot Nia Ali in 12.59.

Kristi Castlin rounded out the podium in 12.61 in a race devoid of London Olympic champion Sally Pearson, who missed the Games due to injury.
