Rio Olympics over for Australian shooters

Catherine Skinner will leave the Rio Olympics as Australia's sole shooting medallist after the country's last two competitors bowed out of competition.

Dane Sampson finished 20th in the men's 50m rifle 3 position on Sunday, ahead of countryman Will Godward in 39th.

Skinner won gold on day two of the Games in the women's trap, Australia's first Olympic medal in the sport since Warren Potent's bronze at Beijing in 2008.
