Aust men's K2 crew into medal race

Australian sprint kayakers Ken Wallace and Lachlan Tame will start among the medal favourites after cruising into Thursday's K2 1000m Olympic final.
The pair got off to a lightning start at Rio's Lagoa Stadium and held on to win the semi-final ahead of crews from Italy and Hungary.
Wallace won gold and bronze in individual race at the Beijing Games but missed the podium in London while Tame is an Olympic debutant.
