Wests Tigers legend Robbie Farah denies abusing coach Michael Maguire during loss

Wests Tigers legend turned game-day trainer Robbie Farah has denied abusing coach Michael Maguire during Friday's loss.

The Tigers went down 16-12 to the Warriors to remain winless after three rounds.

On Sunday, accusations emerged that Farah had been using foul language directed at the coaches box during the game.

2GB Continuous Call Team host Mark Levy aired an email from a listener, who alleges Farah made a number of comments including, "don't complain to me, it was that f----- c--- up there", as he spoke to a player who had just been benched.

Farah spoke to Sydney Morning Herald reporter Michael Chammas and denied he aimed any abuse towards Maguire.

"I've spoken to Robbie Farah, he strongly denied that he has said anything negative about the coach," Chammas said on Nine's NRL coverage.

"He has spoken to Michael Maguire and club officials to clear the air there, and insists he is Michael Maguire's No.1 fan.

"He says nothing to see here."
