Todd Greenberg gets payout of more than $650,000 after leaving NRL CEO position
Todd Greenberg received more than $650,000 in severance after quitting as NRL chief executive, a new report says.
Channel Nine rugby league reporter Danny Weidler revealed the sum in his Sun Herald column.
Greenberg was reportedly on a salary of $1.2 million (pre-bonuses) and had six and a half months remaining on his contract.

Greenberg refused to discuss the payout, telling Weidler: ''We have signed a deed of agreement, which is commercial in confidence.''
ARLC chairman Peter V'landys, who has largely been running the game during the coronavirus crisis, told Weidler: "It's not appropriate that I discuss Todd's contract. All I will say is that I wish him well.''
Greenberg served as NRL boss for just over four years, having taken over from Dave Smith. Though he resigned his position, it is accepted that he jumped before being pushed.
Chief commercial officer Andrew Abdo is now acting CEO and is considered the front-runner for the permanent job.
