Adam Doueihi has returned to Wests Tigers training and has been named at halfback to face the Eels on Sunday afternoon in a surprising call.

The disgruntled utility walked out of Concord last week before refusing to play, prompting a visceral reaction across the NRL and questions about his future.

Doueihi has since held peace talks with coach Benji Marshall and other club officials, agreeing to come back and train with his teammates.

The 27-year-old was spotted at the club’s Concord base on Tuesday morning and will regain the No.7 jersey in place of young gun Javon Andrews.

Doueihi was originally meant to move to lock last week, accommodating for the debutant Andrews, but coach Marshall has backflipped on that stance.

In other team news, Panthers coach Ivan Cleary has made a bold selection call, dropping one of the club’s best young players in favour of a more experienced option.

Here’s how every NRL team will line up this weekend.
