State of Origin 2016: Morgan suffers at the hands of brutal Origin
Never has the brutality of Origin been encapsulated better than when NSW prop David Klemmer charged over Maroons utility Michael Morgan.
Klemmer’s ferocious second-half run left a dazed Morgan sprawled on the ground after he was struck on the head by the NSW giant’s shoulder.
To add cruelty to the moment, replays showed the Blues firebrand stood on Morgan’s face after the hit, albeit accidentally.

Morgan was visibly wobbly as he was taken from the field for concussion tests with Queensland hanging on to a 6-4 lead.
Early reports suggested the Cowboys player would not return to the field for the rest of the match.
