Solomone Kata on dangerous throw charge
AAP
Warriors centre Solomone Kata's NRL season could be over after he was hit with a grade-one dangerous throw charge.
Kata will receive a one-match ban and will miss the Warriors' last-round clash with Parramatta if he pleads guilty to the first-half tackle on the Wests Tigers' Jordan Rankin in Sunday's loss.
If Kata elects to fight the charge at the NRL judiciary and loses, he will face two weeks on the sideline.

It is the second time Kata has been charged with a dangerous throw this year, after attracting similar attention for a hit on Blake Ferguson in round five.
The 22-year-old has scored 15 tries in 21 games this year.
