Warriors star Jazz Tevaga controversially sin-binned for 'punch' on Eels' Nathan Brown
New Zealand lock Jazz Tevaga was controversially sent to the sin-bin for an apparent 'punch' on Nathan Brown in the Warriors' clash against Parramatta on Sunday afternoon.
With Parammatta up 4-0 in the 16th minute, Tevaga was binned after his fist contacted Brown's chin as the Eels forward was attempting to stand up having made a tackle.
Brown instantly reacted and pushed Tevaga into the turf in retaliation, which sparked a scuffle between the two teams.
"We want to challenge. He punched him!" Eels half Mitchell Moses comically screamed at referee Grant Atkins as the whistle was blown and the melee broke up.

A huge roar of boos erupted when replays of the incident played on the big screen at Central Coast Stadium.
Moses' challenge was not necessary as Atkins had not yet made a ruling yet, but the end result still benefitted Parramatta as Tevaga was marched.
"He might get him on the chin. It's not a particularly savage one," Parramatta legend Peter Sterling said in Nine's commentary.
"You've struck him in the head. Off you go," Atkins said as Tevaga jogged to the sidelines.
"10 minutes for that? Oh my," a stunned Andrew Johns said after the decision.
