Pakistan's Junaid Khan comes up with worst review ever against South Africa in Champions Trophy

There have been some fairly ambitious reviews as DRS goes in cricket but the effort from Pakistan's Junaid Khan is being hailed as the worst ever.

Khan was bowling to South Africa's Kaguso Rabada in their Champions Trophy match when he launched a rather hopeful lbw shout.

To the naked eye it looked as though the ball had come off the bat and was subsequently given not out, but Khan managed to convince his captain Sarfraz Ahmed to review the decision after swearing it had Rabada's toe first.

The commentator mused that it had come off Rabada's toe it would be "very, very close" but the South African batsman had a huge smile on his face as he spoke to his partner at a mid-pitch conference.

Replays showed the only toe the ball had come near was the bottom of Rabada's bat, and the crowd broke into laughter as the replay was shown on the big screen.

"Yeah, ok, Junaid Khan,'' the commentator said. "We'll leave it there."

While Khan might have been out of luck on that occasion, Pakistan was eventually declared the winners of the rain-affected match under the Duckworth-Lewis system.
