After 29 weeks of rugby league, it's come down to the final two, as the Sydney Roosters clash with the Canberra Raiders for the 2019 NRL premiership.

A win for Trent Robinson's men would see the Roosters become the first back-to-back premiers since the Broncos' 1992-1993 feat, and would surely cement them as one of the greatest teams in recent history.

It' equally meaningful on the other side of the encounter.

It's been 25 years since the Raiders qualified for a grand final. And in the 30th anniversary of their maiden Premiership, the Green Machine have a chance to do it all again.

It's a sad story for Roosters youngster Lindsay Collins however who has for the second year in a row been pushed to the reserves for grand final day after helping his side to the championship clash.

Collins was last year moved to reserves to clear way for the return of Dylan Napa who was serving a three match suspension. This time round he makes way for Jared Waerea-Hargreaves who returns from his tripping ban.

Roosters co-captain Jake Friend has also been named in the extended squad as mystery surrounds his potential start on Sunday evening.
