St George Illawarra Dragons re-sign Mat and Max Feagai until end of 2024
The Dragons have retained a key part of their long-term future, securing both Mat and Max Feagai until the end of the 2024 NRL season.
The twin brothers, who are capable of filling in multiple spots along the backline, were two of the club's highest-rated young guns in years before they both made their debuts across the last two seasons.

"The Dragons have been a big part of both our lives. We were both keen on staying beyond this coming season," Mat said.
"I've had a taste of first grade now and I want to continue playing week-in, week-out; that will be what I'll be working hard towards this pre-season and beyond. Hopefully I'll be able to play a lot more games alongside Max too."

Max played two first grade games in 2020 and four in 2021, scoring two tries.
Mat debuted on the wing and scored a try in a win over the Bulldogs in May this year.
"We often talk about how special an opportunity this has been at the Dragons. We are so happy to re-sign and to continue making our family proud," Max said.
"Hopefully I can stay healthy this season and play a lot more games than I did last year all with the goal to cement a spot in the NRL team."
It's the first bit of signing news for the Dragons since they announced they had finalised contracts with Aaron Woods, Jack Gosiewski, and Tautau Moga last month.

"Mat and Max have both proven over the last year that they have the ability to perform in the NRL and their retention is definitely one for all members, partners and fans to be excited about," the club's football manager Ben Haran said.
"The twins' continued commitment to the club is yet another example for any aspiring footballers throughout our junior systems that the Dragons can provide a strong pathway through to first grade."
