'Not going to panic': Bulldogs chairman throws support behind Phil Gould, Cameron Ciraldo amid tough period
Bulldogs chairman Adam Druissi has thrown his support behind Phil Gould and Cameron Ciraldo in the midst of a tough period for the club.
Despite ending a five-game losing streak against the Storm on Friday night, Canterbury still sit 13th on the ladder with four wins and seven defeats.
The pressure has been growing on both Ciraldo and Gould in recent weeks, with major question marks over recruitment decisions from the past 12 months and the side's slip in performances since leading the competition mid-way through last season.

However, according to Druissi, there is no need to "panic" about where the Dogs are heading and has faith in the coach and general manager to turn things around.
"Of course we're disappointed with where we are at this stage of the season," he told The Sydney Morning Herald.
"But I have complete faith in Phil Gould and Cameron Ciraldo. They are the right people to lead this club, full stop. The easiest thing in football is to panic when results don't go your way. We're not going to do that – we're going to come through this together."

Druissi also pointed to how poor Canterbury were performing prior to Gould's arrival in 2021 and Ciraldo signing as coach for the 2023 season.
"It's easy to forget where this club was," he continued.
"What Gus and Cameron have built here is real – the culture, pathways, structures.
"A bad run of results doesn't unwind three years of genuine progress. I'm very confident in the long-term direction."
The club have also denied talks with AJ Brimson have taken place, per the Herald.
Canterbury have debuted a handful of talented young forwards - AJ Jones, Jack Underhill and Jed Reardon - from the pathways program in recent weeks.
The side will take on the injury-plagued Wests Tigers next weekend.
