Dom Young's tenure at the Sydney Roosters appears to be all-but over, with the club telling the towering winger he is free to leave.

Young was axed last month and has spent the past two weeks in NSW Cup, with Mark Nawaqanitawase and Robert Toia making their mark in the first grade backline.
