'Not going anywhere': Superstar winger Brian To'o denies reports of Panthers exit

Brian To'o has shut down suggestions he will leave Penrith after the star winger and his manager met with club officials this week to discuss his future.

After initial reports from 9News' Danny Weidler that the Origin winger had been shopped to "select" clubs, To'o and his agent Liam Ayoub took their concerns to the Panthers.

However, in a positive boost for the premiers, To'o has re-committed to the club.

The 25-year-old is reportedly on a deal worth less than his market value, but after a meeting with Penrith, Weidler has now confirmed all parties are on the same page and To'o is expected to .

The local junior has made 108 appearances for the club since his debut in 2019 and is considered one of the best wingers of the modern era.

To'o posted on his Instagram story on Thursday afternoon to deny any claims he was on his way out of the Panthers.

"Thanks for all the support fam," he said.

"Nothing to see. Not going anywhere. No shopping here."

To'o holds a mortgage on the Blues wing position and hasn't missed an Origin since his debut in the 2021 series opener, while also featuring in Penrith's three-straight titles.

This year, To'o scored two tries in game two and was among NSW's best all series.

Penrith are already losing their other winger Sunia Turuva in 2025, as well as star five-eighth Jarome Luai to the Tigers next season.

Tigers chief executive Shane Richardson admitted the club would be interested in To'o should he become available next year.

The news comes as the Panthers edge closer to landing boom rookie Blaize Talagi for next season after the young speedster confirmed he will leave the Eels.
