'Choose a different destination': Broncos boss sends 'strong' message to stars after wayward Bali trip

Broncos boss Dave Donaghy has sent a "strong" message to Reece Walsh and Ezra Mam after their post-season trip to Bali created some drama for the club.
The pair were involved in an altercation during the holiday, with the NRL integrity unit being made aware of the incident and launching an investigation.
Reports claim a fan tried to take a selfie with Walsh before Mam stepped in and took the phone off him, before it was dropped on the ground and damaged.

The issue between the two parties has since been resolved.

"The damaged phone was simply an accident within a heavily populated nightclub in Bali," the pair's manager Nash Dawson told the SMH.
"A person's phone was dropped and damaged, to which that person has asked for the player to pay for the damages and the player has already paid it."

Days later, Mam shared a photo of himself next to Walsh laying in a hospital bed after a surfing accident, which resulted in grazes to his back.
The photo was taken in the "resuscitation area" of the Indonesia medical facility.

Speaking to media on Tuesday morning, the club's chief executive was asked if he was "glad" to see Walsh and Mam back in the country.
"Very," Donaghy said with a smirk.
"I've spoken to both and from what I understand, I don't believe there's a lot in any of it.
"I did strongly encourage them that perhaps next time they have a holiday, they choose a different destination and possibly even turn their phone off.
"I think those matters from our perspective are closed off, but certainly that will be a matter that will readdress in the new year when they come back from their break."
Donaghy said he understands the integrity unit has closed its investigation.
