First behind-the-scenes look at Wayne Bennett's Dolphins glimpsed in new documentary trailer
The first behind-the-scenes look at Wayne Bennett's all-new NRL team has been glimpsed in a freshly released trailer for the Stan documentary, Dawn of the Dolphins.
The fly-on-the-wall, three-part series follows the story of the Redcliffe-based team and its move from a second-tier Queensland state league club to a fully-fledged professional NRL outfit.
Filming began in October, 2021 with the announcement of the Dolphins as the 17th team in the NRL.
The three-part Stan Original Documentary Series 'Dawn of the Dolphins' premieres weekly from March 6, only on Stan.
The first 60-minute episode shot in 4K will be released on March 6.

It follows the club's confirmation it has secured a spot in the NRL and the journey to acquiring Bennett as its head coach.
It also covers the struggles the team faces to sign players in the hotly contested marketplace.

Bennett also engages in difficult conversations with the player management as deadlines loom.
"It has been a pleasure to partner with Stan and launch the Dolphins to a national audience and really help tell the story of the origin of our club, and the journey to be ready within a time frame of 15 months to play in the NRL," said Terry Reader, Dolphins CEO.

Dawn Of The Dolphins is produced by Onion TV and Stan originals with support from Screen Queensland.
The first round of the 2023 season gets underway on March 2.
The Dolphins will play the Sydney Roosters at Brisbane's Suncorp Stadium on March 5.
The Dolphins drew with the North Queensland Cowboys in their latest pre-season trial, 22-all, at Barlow Park.
