'It's very dangerous': James Tedesco fumes at security after 'scary' pitch invader
Roosters skipper James Tedesco called for tighter security at NRL games after a pitch invader made contact with Dragons star Zac Lomax.
With less than five minutes left in Tuesday's Anzac Day clash at Allianz Stadium, players had their backs turned as they waited for a captain's challenge with the game in the balance at 27-26, when a shirtless fan ran onto the field and put his arm around Lomax.
He was allowed to linger for what Tedesco considered an unacceptable length of time before security escorted him off the field.

Once security got to the pitch invader he walked off with the officials without resistance.

"It's very dangerous, who knows what the invader could have on them, or attack a player," Tedesco said.
"It's a bit scary, security obviously need to be better there and not allow pitch invaders to get in contact with any players."

Dragons captain Ben Hunt added: "I guess it's a concern if someone can get to a player and tackle them or something like that.
"I guess it's dangerous, but what do you do? You can't put a thousand security [guards] around the fence. You've just got to be aware of it when they are coming on, I guess."
The 19-year-old man was handed over to police and charged with common assault and remaining on the field.
