Nathan Brown announces end to head coaching career after quitting Warriors post
Nathan Brown has called time on his head coaching career after 20 years and five different clubs.
He revealed the news to Nine's Danny Weidler via a Zoom interview, hours after quitting his post as coach of the Warriors.
"Obviously my coaching has come to an end. I've been coaching for 20 years now and this was always going to be my last job," Brown said.

"There comes a time in life where my family's got to be more important than my coaching career, that's just the reality of it.
"I make no apologies for that.
"My eldest daughter went to 11 different schools, and changed schools in year 12.

"My family have made all the sacrifices for me. It comes to a stage for me to move into a different area of rugby league where there's a little more stability."
Brown's longest job was at St George Illawarra, where he started in 2003 and coached 164 games.
That was followed by a stint in England where he coached Huddersfield and St Helens for five years collectively, before returning to Australia and taking over the Knights.
His four seasons in Newcastle were tough - a 25.5 per cent win record an unwanted mark on his career - and he left to join the Warriors, where he became head coach in 2021.
While he won't be head coach of a club again, Brown isn't leaving the game altogether.
"I'd like to work with younger players, and help with list management," he told 9News.
"Help coach younger players and help younger coaches... help put a list together for a (NRL) top 30, help someone stay employed."
Stacey Jones will act as interim Warriors coach while the club sets about finding a full-time replacement for Brown.
