Sydney Roosters forward Dylan Napa has been hospitalised after he reportedly attempted to break-up a brawl at a party on Sydney’s northern beaches yesterday.

The 24-year-old footballer is understood to have stepped in to separate a fight between a 33-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman.

Napa was punched in the scuffle and fell to the ground.

All three were taken to Mona Vale Hospital and Napa is cooperating with police.

The alleged brawl took place at an exclusive house party at Palm Beach hosted by Theo Chambers, heir to the Chambers Cellars business.

It occurred at around 3.00am and neighbours have told 9NEWS they heard loud screaming.

"My wife heard screams, terrible screams in the early hours of the morning," one neighbour told 9NEWS.

The Roosters and the NRL Integrity Unit are investigating.
