Roosters lock in future with Latrell Mitchell signing
Young superstar Latrell Mitchell has re-signed with the Sydney Roosters, along with Joseph Manu and Nat Butcher.
The trio of young guns have been signed through till the end of the 2020 season.
Although Mitchell had another year to run on his current contract, the Roosters weren’t willing to give another team the opportunity to recruit the precocious talent.
“I’m very proud to represent the Roosters,” said Mitchell.

“The club means a lot to me, and I’m learning so much from [Trent Robinson], the coaches and senior players around me, so I’m glad that I’ll continue to be part of the team here.”
Mitchell currently has 48 games under his belt with the Roosters, while Butcher and Manu have three and 20 appearances, respectively.
“In their own right, Latrell, Joey and Nat are outstanding young men,” Roosters recruitment manager Adam Hartigan said.
“Their work ethic precedes them and they are terrific contributors to the Roosters both on and off the field.
