Matai, Lyon, DCE sidelined for Manly

Manly have suffered a massive blow with stars Daly Cherry-Evans, Jamie Lyon and Steve Matai set for stints on the sideline.

The club on Monday confirmed Matai is out indefinitely with a neck problem while Cherry-Evans will miss the next month with an ankle issue.

Lyon will miss two weeks, also because of an ankle injury, while the club is nervously awaiting scans on Brenton Lawrence after he suffered a pec injury which threatens to cut his NRL season short.
