Manly have started their off-season with a bang, locking down two of their most valuable stars.

The Daily Telegraph reports that gun centre/five-eighth Dylan Walker and Test calibre enforcer Marty Taupau have both agreed to new deals with the Sea Eagles.

According to the report Walker has taken a pay cut to stay with the club on a two-year deal, although the contract reportedly contains a clause that will allow him to renegotiate his salary at the end of the 2020 season.

Taupau was already contracted with Manly until the end of next season but has extended his deal, keeping him on the beaches through to 2022.

The double-signing will come as a relief for the club, giving them a clear idea of their salary cap space as they prepare a monster deal to retain superstar brothers Jake and Tom Trbojevic long-term.

The Trbojevic brothers, still just 25 and 23, become free agents on November 1 and both will attract huge interest on the open market if they are not tied down before then.
