Mal and Gal to sit down next week

Kangaroos coach Mal Meninga says Paul Gallen remains in the frame for the upcoming Test against the Kiwis and will clear the air with him at next week's True Blues dinner in Sydney.

Gallen's future in the national side has been under a cloud since revealing earlier this week he had yet to speak with Meninga since the former Queensland coach was appointed Kangaroos mentor last December.

The Kangaroos play their first Test in more than a year when they host New Zealand in Newcastle on May 6.
