Knights' Moga stood down for two games
Newcastle centre Tautau Moga has been stood down for two matches after pleading guilty to slapping a taxi driver on Boxing Day last year.
The 25-year-old had no conviction recorded on Thursday after pleading guilty to common assault when he appeared in Newcastle local court.
He was instead placed on a good behaviour bond for the incident, which happened after he attended the Boxing Day races.
The Knights on Saturday confirmed that Moga would be stood down for two matches, including Saturday's Canterbury Cup NSW match.
He'll also face the club's disciplinary committee at a future date.

CEO Philip Gardner earlier in the year flagged the club's intentions to come down hard on any player who brings the club into disrepute.
Prop Jacob Saifiti was fined $50,000 - a quarter of his salary - after he was knocked out outside a Newcastle pub and suffered a broken leg.
Moga also faces a difficult path back to first grade after an injury-interrupted inaugural season at the club in 2018, during which he was restricted to just four appearances after undergoing his fourth knee reconstruction.
