Morris brothers enter the rugby league record books

Bulldog try-scorer Josh Morris has created a slice of history in the round one clash against the Sea Eagles – joining sibling Brett to become the first brothers to both score a hundred four-pointers in rugby league.

The twins have been prolific throughout their combined careers – both played for the Dragons before moving to Canterbury, Josh in 2009 followed by Brett in 2015 – but it was only in this season's opening round that they created their unique place in the record books.

However, Sea Eagles' fans will rankle at their club's part in the historic moment.

Controlling the game at 16-0 in the first-half, the Bulldogs were back on the attack when the ball went through a set of hands and found its way to Moses Mbye.

The playmaker put through a weighted grubber in behind the Manly defenders, who seemed to have the danger covered.

But the bounce of the ball deceived the desperate Sea Eagles and Morris was in the perfect position to pounce and seal his, and his brother's, place in immortality.
