NRL: Gold Coast Titans star Jarryd Hayne struggles with the boot against Sydney Roosters

Gold Coast's million-dollar-man Jarryd Hayne tried his best to rescue the Titans against the Roosters, but his kicking efforts weren't quite up to scratch. 

The Sydney Roosters defeated the Titans 20-16 with a comeback win that secured a home final for the 2013 premiers.

In the final minutes of the game after Boyd Cordner put the Roosters in front, the Gold Coast scrambled to find something special. 

Up stepped Hayne. Attempting the short kick-off however, the cross-code star failed to send it more than 10m before it bounced over the sideline.

Then as the Roosters piled on the pressure with the restart advantage from the 50m line, the Titans were forced to take a dropout. Again Hayne took control and tried to conjure some magic. Unfortunately for Gold Coast, he booted it out on the full, sealing the win for the Roosters.
