James Tedesco set to ink new lucrative $3.3 million deal with Roosters
James Tedesco is set to extend his stay at the Roosters on a new three-year $3.3 million dollar deal expected to be signed this week.
The Sydney Morning Herald reports the Chooks are poised to lockdown arguably the game's most impactful player just days after the acquisition of teenage prodigy Joseph Suaalii.
It's believed the club see Tedesco as the perfect mentor to nurture Squali through his fullback development, ensuring a top-tier marquee will don the Roosters' No.1 jersey for some time.

Tedesco is expected to sign his new deal when he returns from holidaying in Byron Bay. It is believed he never had any doubts about remaining in Bondi despite the capacity to earn more on the open market.
Since leaving the Tigers, he has won two premierships, developed into arguably the NRL's most valuable player and captained his state.
It is understood Tedesco's new deal will see him pocket $100,000 more per season than his current contract with the Roosters.
