David Fifita could be banned from Origin III, Bulldogs pair also facing suspension
Titans superstar David Fifita is facing a one-match ban after his team's thumping of Canberra - which could put him out of State of Origin III.
Fifita put a late hit on Raiders halfback Sam Williams 30 minutes into Saturday's game, dropping him heavily to the ground. He was charged with grade one dangerous contact and was pushed above the suspension threshold by loading from past offences.
Fifita is facing a one-match ban regardless of whether he takes an early plea or fights the charge at the judiciary. He needs to beat the charge to take his place in the Queensland team for Origin III, which will be played Wednesday-week.

Meanwhile, two Bulldogs players are also facing suspension from their awful loss to Manly.
Jeremy Marshall-King copped a grade one crusher tackle charge, over a tackle on Morgan Harper, and is facing two or three games out.
Ava Seumanufagai was charged with grade one dangerous contact on Martin Taupau and is facing one or two games on the sideline.
Cowboys star Valentine Holmes was fined over grade one dangerous contact on Knights fullback Kalyn Ponga.
