Dolphins unveil Heritage Round jersey, major sponsor
The NRL's incoming 17th franchise, the Dolphins, have given fans a glimpse of what's to come with the unveiling of its Heritage Round jersey.
The Dolphins, along with new coach Wayne Bennett, took to their future home ground Suncorp Stadium today to showcase the club's new jersey, as well as a major sponsor.
Dolphins boss Terry Reader confirmed the club had secured a four-year sponsorship deal with Adventure Kings.

But most importantly, a Heritage Round jersey, which will be worn only on special occasions, was unveiled.
While the club has controversially dropped Redcliffe from its name, the special occasion jersey will play a big part in acknowledging the Dolphins' history.

"It's based on the iconic 80s jersey of the Redcliffe Dolphins, honouring our history and we're really proud of that," Reader said.
The Dolphins' regular home and away strips are still being designed.

With the club set to take to the field in 2023, from November 1, the Dolphins can officially start talking to players.
"We've been really respectful of the rules and there's a lot of work going on in the background... we're very confident we will be able to have a very competitive roster for our first season," Reader said.
