UFC welterweight Niko Price sends fight world into meltdown with savage last-ditch up-kick

UFC welterweight Niko Price has triggered a collective wince among combat sports fans with savage last ditch up-kick KO to salvage his Fight Night 161 clash with James Vick.

Vick, who looked comfortable debuting at 77kg, was the aggressor at Amalie Arena, Tampa, controlling the fight early.

Taking the fight to the canvas Vick had Price in top-position where scored well with some serious ground and pound.

He postured up again to gain a better strike at his opponent who was lying flat on his back. But that would be the newcomer's undoing as Price swung a savage heel into the face of Vick as he came crashing down to the canvas.

Price finished off his unbelievable turnaround with a sequence of punches but there was no need, the fight was called by the referee as the fighting world lost its mind.
