NFL star in pelvic-thrust dance controversy

An NFL star is embroiled in controversy after refusing to rule out a repeat of a pelvic-thrust celebration that has landed him in hot water.

Denver Broncos outside linebacker Von Miller was last week slapped with a US$12,000 fine after he celebrated sacking Detroit quarterback Matthew Stafford by placing his hands behind his head and then simulating sex.It was the second time he'd performed the celebration this season and, deeming it inappropriate for a national television audience, the NFL decided to take action.While Miller offered a watered-down version of the celebration over the weekend, he has seemingly warned league chiefs to expect a repeat of the pelvic thrusting, which is apparently a tribute to a routine in a US comedy show called "Key & Peele".In that skit, a player named Hingle McCringleberry draws a flag because he does three pelvic thrusts after a touchdown and the rules allow no more than two.For what it's worth, Miller stopped at two.
