NFL star celebrates touchdown with crotch grab

NFL superstar Marshawn Lynch has celebrated a 72-metre, bulldozing touchdown by grabbing his crotch while leaping into the end zone.

The Seattle Seahawks’ running back initiated what was called ‘one of the greatest plays’ by commentator Cris Collinsworth when he took the ball from quarterback Russell Wilson deep in his own half against the Arizona Cardinals.

Driving through the minefield of players after the snap, Lynch evades two tackles before finding some room to move.

Shifting to the far side of the field, Lynch is rundown by ‘one of the fastest’ players, Patrick Peterson, only for the 28-year-old to shrug off the speedster and another two Cardinals players in a sprint to the line.

But just as Lynch is about to score, he jumps into the air, grabbing his crotch as he lands on his back in the end zone.

The play was likened to the Lynch’s famous ‘Beast Quake’ run from 2011, a 61-metre, nine-tackle breaking touchdown run to beat the defending Super Bowl champions, the New Orleans Saints.
