NFL player Rob Gronkowski takes incredible one-handed catch

Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski has been praised for his skill and courage after pulling off an incredible one-handed catch in New England’s big win over Denver.

Footage of the remarkable grab shows Gronkowski veer infield on his route while watching his quarterback Tom Brady.

The 198cm, 121kg giant shows incredible athleticism to spin back with the flight of the ball and pluck it out of the air with just his left hand, all while under pressure from a Denver defensive player.

Unluckily, Gronkowski could not land on his feet, with officials ruling that he was down at the one-yard line.

The tight end would get a deserved touchdown the next play though with Brady finding Gronkowski, who is famous for his off-field antics, in the endzone to put the icing on the cake with a final touchdown in the 43-21 win.
