Pettitt takes cheeky shot at rival Layton ahead of Super Netball season

The first centre pass hasn’t been fired yet for Suncorp Super Netball but already there’s no shortage of niggle going on off the court.
Collingwood Magpies prized recruit Sharni Layton and GWS Giants Susan Pettitt engaged in a Twitter battle on Friday the eve of the start of the new competition.
Layton will turn out for her new club Collingwood on Saturday for the highly anticipated local derby against Melbourne Vixens at Hisense Arena.
Layton left the NSW Swifts behind her when the ANZ Championship ended last season to join the Magpies – the club she also supports in the AFL.
There is talk already that all games for the opening round are on track to sell out and Layton was doing her her best to ensure that after posting the following tweet.
Pettitt, her former teammate from the Swifts, couldn’t help but take a little swipe back with a tweet of her own. Layton's distinctive voice came in for a mention.
Layton won’t have to wait long to get her revenge with the Magpies scheduled to host the Giants at Hisense Arena in round three.
