Fever feel 'unbeatable' at netball home

West Coast Fever captain Courtney Bruce says her team will feel unbeatable when they step out in front of a huge home crowd in next week's Super Netball grand final.

The Fever will host the decider in front of more than 10,000 fans at Perth Arena next Sunday, but they still don't know who they'll face.

The Giants will host the Sunshine Coast Lightning in a preliminary final this Sunday, with the winner to meet West Coast in the title decider.

The Fever have lost just once at home this year, and they'll start as strong favourites in the grand final in front of what's expected to be a sellout crowd of close to 13,000 fans.

Bruce has been telling her teammates that they should feel "unbeatable" on their home court.

"I've said all season that we've got the most hostile crowd to come play in front of," Bruce said.

"We're a team that feeds off energy, and if we've got that crowd behind us, riding those momentum waves with us, I think it's going to be huge and push us to that next level.

"It's our crowd, our court, and if you're walking into our home, you've got to have your A-game on. We won't show any mercy when we're out there."

Star goalshooter Jhaniele Fowler didn't train on Tuesday, but the Jamaican is expected to recover from a knee injury in time for next week's grand final.

The Fever beat the Lightning in each of their two clashes this year - but both were one-goal thrillers.

The Giants knocked off the Fever by three goals in the final round of the season, but West Coast gained revenge with a three-goal victory in last week's semi-final.

Bruce said she wasn't fussed about which team they'll face in the grand final.
