Chaz Mostert has cleaned house at this year's Supercars gala after finishing third in the championship. 

The Gold Coaster won his second Barry Sheene Medal and a number of other accolades, and even earned an apology from Broc Feeney.

Mostert was crowned drivers' driver of the year for the first time, and also received the inaugural Jim Richards Award for his exceptional on-track performance.

"I'm still lost for words to be honest," Mostert said.

However, the accolades came after a bittersweet end to the Supercars season. While leading the final race, he was involved in a collision with Broc Feeney, resulting in both drivers missing out on one final win for the year.

Mostert ended up finishing second and Feeney seventh due to time penalties. 

But there's no love lost between the pair after Feeney apologised after the race.
