Erebus Motorsport confirms Supercars champion Brodie Kostecki's absence to continue
Erebus Motorsport has confirmed Todd Hazelwood will remain with the team in Brodie Kostecki's absence at the Melbourne SuperSprint.
The Supercars team has maintained it is respecting Kostecki's privacy, who has not spoken since the Motorsport Australia Awards Gala in February.
Kostecki won the Supercars drivers' championship with Erebus but pulled out of the season-opening Bathurst 500 over an apparent disagreement with the team.

On Tuesday, the team issued a short statement confirming Hazelwood will drive the No.99 Chevrolet Camaro at the Melbourne SuperSprint.

"Erebus Motorsport remains firmly committed to respecting Brodie's privacy and we are unable to provide further updates at this time," the team said in a statement.
"Todd Hazelwood will continue to represent the team in car 99 at the Australian Grand Prix event.
"We would also like to express our thanks for the support we're received in recent weeks. Your messages mean the world to us."
Hazelwood will partner teammate Jack Le Brocq at the team.
Erebus won the teams' championship in 2023 and with it began the 2024 season at the head of pit lane.
The introduction of the all-new live pit lane whereby teams are positioned in the pit lane by their championship standings will see Erebus drop down the pecking order in Melbourne.
Being at the head of pit lane is beneficial to have first rights to the track in practice and qualifying sessions as well as avoiding other cars during pit stops in-race.

Le Brocq led the team's efforts at Mount Panorama with finishes of 13th and eighth, putting him 11th in the drivers' championship.
Hazelwood, meanwhile, finished 11th and 13th across the weekend's two races to sit 13th in the standings.
Erebus are sixth in the teams' championship, which is led by Triple Eight Race Engineering.
The Melbourne SuperSprint takes place on March 21-24 in support of the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix.
