TCR Australia Series adds rural Victoria round to its 2023 calendar
This year's TCR Australia Series calendar is all but set with confirmation the series will head to Winton Motor Raceway for round three.
The hot hatches will head to the rural Victorian circuit on May 12-14 at what is a truly V8-themed SpeedSeries festival.
That weekend the TCR cars will feature on a truly Australian line-up led by the NASCAR-style National Trans Am Series.

That will be supported by the V8-powered S5000 single-seaters, the classic Touring Car Masters, and the reborn V8 Touring Cars featuring mid-2000s V8 Supercars.
Sport Sedans and Formula Ford will also feature at the event.

It marks the first time the TCR Australia Series has raced at Winton Motor Raceway since the inaugural season in 2019.
"This is great news that we will have TCR Australia back at Winton in 2023," said Liam Curkpatrick, Australian Racing Group chief operating office.

"The circuit is perfectly suited to the TCR cars, and just like we saw in 2019, it offers plenty of action and close racing.
"Our focus is now firmly on the opening round at Symmons Plains with some really great news for the category coming through in the coming weeks."

The 2023 season is set to get underway on February 24-26 at Symmons Plains Raceway in Tasmania.
Victoria will host back-to-back rounds with the first at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit on May 12-14 followed by Winton Motor Raceway on June 9-11.
The first of two events in New South Wales takes place at Sydney Motorsport Park on June 23-25.
The series will head to Queensland on August 11-13 for another jaunt at Queensland Raceway.

The series returns to Victoria on September 8-10 venturing to the iconic Sandown International Motor Raceway.
The series comes to a close at Mount Panorama with Bathurst International, which doubles as a round of the TCR World Tour.
A second TCR World Tour event is expected to feature on the 2023 TCR Australia Series calendar.
Exactly where that will take place is yet to be confirmed. The Sandown event has been tipped as a likely venue with Sydney Motorsport Park also among the favourites.
The TCR World Tour will bring the best TCR drivers from across the globe Down Under to race against Australia's best.

Round 7: Bathurst International (TCR World Tour) – November 10-12
