More races, more free-to-air offerings for SpeedSeries in 2023
Stan Sport and the Nine Network have confirmed expanded coverage of SpeedSeries in 2023 off the back of a strong debut season.
In 2022, the SpeedSeries moniker was launched and in 2023 the format will be strengthened by forming a closer connection with Motorsport Australia and its broadcasters.
Part of the approach to the new season is an expanded free-to-air offering on the Nine Network.

At each SpeedSeries event, three hours of Saturday's coverage will be broadcast live and free-to-air – up 30 per cent from the 2022 season.
Expanded highlights will also be available on the Nine Network.

Stan Sport is upping its offerings too with enhancements to its live, ad-free coverage of all SpeedSeries events.
It comes off the back of a season that saw 1.5 million people tune into SpeedSeries broadcasts on free-to-air alone.

"The inaugural SpeedSeries season delivered for motorsport fans from start to finish," said Ben Kimber, Stan Sport director of sport.
"Real racing the way it's meant to be, with outstanding coverage. Stan Sport viewers have seen the start of something special."
Mike Smith, Motorsport Australia director of motorsport and commercial operations, lauded the expansion.
"We're exceptionally proud of each and every Shannons Motorsport Australia Championships event that was held throughout 2022 and it's clear the SpeedSeries is growing stronger every year," Smith said.
"With a unified SpeedSeries brand and a strong calendar of events for 2023, these events are only going to get bigger, better and more popular in the years ahead."
Stan Sport is the exclusive home to the IndyCar Series, Formula E, World Rally Championship, and World Endurance Championship.
SpeedSeries has upped its calendar from seven rounds in 2022 to eight in 2023.
The calendar kicks off with Race Tasmania at Symmons Plains on February 24-26 and will feature at iconic venues including Sandown and Mount Panorama.

Round 6: Queensland Raceway – August 11-13
Round 7: Sandown International Raceway – September 8-10
Round 8: Bathurst International (TCR World Tour) – November 10-12
