NASCAR star breaks right leg, left foot

Kyle Busch is out of NASCAR indefinitely after suffering a compound break of his right leg and a fracture of his left foot at Daytona International Speedway.

Busch was in the closing laps of the Xfinity Series race when his No. 54 Toyota veered off the track collided head-on into a interior wall that has no safety barrier.He had to rely on safety workers to get him out of the crumpled vehicle and was treated on the grass for 10 minutes before being transported to hospital.He was clearly and pain and x-rays later confirmed the breaks in his legs which will keep him out of racing indefinitely.NASCAR champion Tony Stewart suffered a similar double compound fracture in his right leg in 2013 and was sidelined for six months.
