Luxury car defies gravity in world record

A gravity defying daredevil has set a new Guinness world record after driving a luxury car through a 360 degree loop.

Stunt driver Terry Grant broke the existing benchmark for the largest ever loop after he survived a specially-constructed 19.08-metre loop in the new 2017 Jaguar F-Pace at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

Pulling an extreme 6.5 G-forces of pressure, Grant takes a long run-up before hurtling through the stomach-churning loop-the-loop.

Slow motion replays and dashboard footage show just how skilled Grant had to be to navigate the feat, with the four-cylinder Ingenium diesel powered vehicle barely fitting in the tight constraints of the track.

The slot car-esque feat earned Grant a new record, after surpassing Greg Tracy and Tanner Foust's mark of 18.29 metres in 2012.
