Kerb turns F3 car into flying missile

A Formula Three driver managed to walk away despite being involved in a terrifying flying crash during a practice session at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit in Belgium.

Video of the accident shows Konsantin Tereschenko lose control of his car and slide into a corner.

Instead of sliding into the run-off, the car becomes a flying missile after it hits the kerb on the corner.

It flies some 5m in the air as it flips and then lands on its side before rolling and crashing into the barrier.

Tereschenko managed to get out of the car before the wreckage burst into flames.
