Hamilton's swing doesn't match stunning sky-high view

Lewis Hamilton has had quite the time in New Zealand on a pre-Australian GP trip.

Hamilton showed off his golfing experience in a series of videos and photos, with the three-time F1 champion shown in the clips teeing off (with biodegradable balls) into the spectacular backdrop of the Southern Alps with the clouds nestled below.

While the view is incredibly stunning, there’s something in the video that doesn’t live up to it – Hamilton’s swing.

Ever the competitor, the 31-year-old hit back at critics of his swing after his technique drew disparaging comments on Instagram.

“For someone that doesn't play golf, I'm happy with this shot. Don't hate the player, hate the game!” his caption for a second video read.

Regardless of Hamilton’s swing, the view is so spectacular it could make golf fans of us all.
