Emanuele Cassani dies in Coppa Italia race
Italian motorbike rider Emanuele Cassani has died of injuries sustained in a crash at the Coppa Italia season-opener.
The Italian motorsport body FMI said in a statement that Cassani, 25, collided with two other riders shortly after the start of the race on the Misano World Circuit on Sunday.
Medical help was available immediately, but doctors were not able to save his life.

The other two riders suffered only minor injuries.
The race was immediately stopped and the FMI said it was with Cassani's family "in this difficult time".
