Aust driver upgraded to fair condition

Australian driver Matt Mingay is now in a fair condition more than a week after crashing in a Detroit truck race.
The accident happened in the Stadium Super Trucks Series on June 4, and he was in a serious but stable condition after having surgery for facial injuries.
The Stadium Super Truck Series, citing the hospital, said on Wednesday that Mingay has been upgraded to fair condition.

According to the SST release, Mingay's family says he suffered a small fracture of his T1 vertebrae as well as face and head injuries.
