A model whose buttocks were used as a hitting box during a Playboy golf event has settled her lawsuit against the entertainment company.

Elizabeth Dickson was suing the company for $US500,000 in damages after she suffered severe bruising when radio host Kevin Klein drove a golf ball off her in 2012.

Footage of the incident showed Dickson lying on the ground with the ball perched on a tee wedged between the cheeks.

Klein, co-host of a Playboy radio show, then swings through with a driver, scraping the top of Dickson's buttocks.

However, Dickson claims she only agreed to be photographed with Klein, and that being unexpectedly hit with the club caused her "pain, suffering, worrying and anxiety".

But according to the Associated Press, Dickson and Playboy Enterprises have since come to an agreement over damages caused by the incident.
