MMA fighter unwittingly KOs ring girl
The Octogan has seen many troubling knockouts but this one may be the worst yet.
At Titan fight championship 42 last weekend, Andrew Whitney lost a unanimous decision to Farkhad Sharipov.
As the decision was announced, Whitney let out his frustration by spinning around with a swinging arm which almost looked like a punch.

Whitney turns his body and catches the one of the ring girls stationed behind him.
To his credit though, Whitney immediately realises his mistake and tried to catch the poor woman.
Sure, MMA is becoming more popular around the globe but it’s that type of vision that inevitably leaves a black eye on a sport that has its fair share of bruises.
